Itinerary

Day 1

On your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, after a briefing from our tour guide, you will be transferred to Queen Elizabeth National Park; have lunch en route in Mbarara.
A dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge (FB)

Day 2

After breakfast go for a morning game drive. In the afternoon return to the hotel for your lunch and later after relaxing, and an afternoon game drive to Kasenyi plains a variety of animals including the lion.

Day 3

After breakfast an excursion to Kyambura Gorge will give you an opportunity to a meet the elusive chimpanzee-which is the man's closest relation. A visit to Maramagambo Forest will expose you to birds and primates of different species. Enjoy the afternoon by taking a boat cruise as you view most of the aquatic animals and birds.
Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge or similar other (FB)

Day 4

After breakfast drive through Ishasha - a tree-climbing sanctuary.
Have a dinner and overnight at Gorilla Forest Camp (FB)

Day 5

After your breakfast go gorilla tracking with the help of the guides. Meeting the gorillas is so breath-taking.
Have a dinner and overnight at Gorilla Forest Camp or similar other (FB)

Day 6

In the morning you can still go for gorilla trekking or have a community walk - meeting the pygmy Batwa community is exciting since their cultural performances will make you feel like not moving away. For birders Bwindi is their haven. You can compare it to none other in Uganda!
Have a dinner and an overnight at Buhoma Homestead (FB)

Day 7

After breakfast depart for Mgahinga en route making a stop-over at Kanaba for a panoramic view of the Virunga Volcanoes. Finally access Mt. Mgahinga (2,300m) in the afternoon.
Stay at Volcanoes Mount Gahinga Lodge for your dinner and an overnight (FB)

Day 8

After breakfast you choose to do one of the activities above which you may have missed the previous day. Return to Mt Gahinga Rest Camp for a dinner and an overnight (FB)

Day 9

After breakfast drive to Rwanda's Parc National des Volcans for mountain gorilla tracking and bird watching in the rainforest plus mountaineering if you choose so.
Stay at Volcanoes Virunga

Day 10

After breakfast drive to Rwanda's Parc National des Volcans for mountain gorilla tracking and bird watching in the rainforest plus mountaineering if you choose so.
Stay at Volcanoes Virunga

Day 11

After breakfast you can go back to the forest for more gorilla tracking. You can choose to visit Dian Fossey's grave or go to Gisenyi and visit Carr's Orphanage and Lake Kivu.
Have a dinner and an overnight at Volcanoes Virunga Lodge (FB)

Day 12

In the morning after breakfast depart for Kigali where you will visit different tourist centres such as the genocide Memorial, handicrafts shop, etc. You can now consider taking a flight back to your home country at Kanombe International Airport./ Transfer to Kampala Uganda Entebbe to Catch your flight back home.
