This is the longest and most remote route to Kilimanjaro. After beautiful forests and moorlands it crosses the Shira Plateau to meet up with the Machame Route.

Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival KIA and transfer to hotel in Moshi for Dinner and overnight.
Day 2
Drive to Londrosi Gate for park fees, then drive to lemosho gate to start the climb hiking to forest camp.
Day 3
Hike to Shira Camp-1. Dinner and overnight.
Day 4
Hike to shira Hut. Dinner and overnight.
Day 5
Hike to Moir Hut. Dinner and overnight.
Day 6
Long day walk on the Northern Circuit to Third Cave. Dinner and overnight.
Day 7
Hike to School Hut. Dinner and overnight.
Day 8
Ascent to the Summit and then descent on Mweka route to Mweka Hut. Dinner and overnight.
Day 9
Descent to Mweka gate and then transfer to hotel in Moshi for Dinner and overnight.
Day 10
Transfer to departure KIA.
