Itinerary

Day 1

Fly from Arusha airport to Seronera (Central Serengeti). Met by our representatives and drive to Serengeti Serena or Mbuzi Mawe Tented Camp for lunch. Afternoon wildlife viewing in private landcruiser with open top roof. Visit Seronera - home of the Big Cats and countless other widlife. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay

Day 2

At dawn drive to balloon site for the Serengeti Balloon Safari followed by champagne bush breakfast (alternatively private sunrise wildlife viewing in private vehicle returning to the lodge for a late breakfast). Relax at lodge till lunch, then game viewing till sunset. Dinner and overnight at lodge

Day 3

Full day of wildlife viewing at leisure (early morning or after late breakfast to suit you). With picnic lunches drive to northern Serengeti (July-August) or western Serengeti (May-July) or southern Serengeti (Jan-March) for a chance to witness the Great Migration, and visit the beautiful island rocks (kopjes) that dot the Serengeti plains and refuge to many wildlife species. Dinner and overnight at a luxury tented camp or lodge

Day 4

Breakfast and wildlife viewing enroute to the airstrip for your return flight to Arusha (OR extend your safari to include the Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara and Tarangire National Parks or Zanzibar).

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud

It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:

  • It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
  • If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
  • Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
