Itinerary
Day 1
Largest of the East Africa countries, Tanzania has a total land expanse of 363,000 square miles. Within this area are situate some of the best hunting grounds to be found on the African continent.
Day 2
A sizeable portions of Tanzania's land expanse in the form of open hunting areas, controlled area's and demarcated hunting blocks in game reserves, have been created strictly for the purposes of safari hunting. The quota of animals to be hunted in these areas maintains an ecological balance of various species to be found there.

Results from previous safaris show that many clients have bagged a high proportion of extremely good trophy heads and ivory.
Day 4
Depending on what hunters would like to shoot, but Elephants hunting is the best done from early September to end of November. Hunters are required to produce Cities Import Permit from their countries before hunting permits are issued to them. This is to conform with International Conventions Treaties. Regulations here require that only long tusks weighing above 55LBS, each or measuring 1.75 m long to be hunted.
Day 5
Safari hunting is possible from July through March, with the closed season from April through June.

Our 2006-2007 safari will take place in the Selous Game Reserves , South Massai land Open Area, Lolkisale Game controlled Area Lukwati Game Controlled Area.
Day 6
1. Services of a Licenced Professional hunter.
2. All camp equipment beds with foam mattresses, camp furniture , linen, tableware water filters , refrigerators, large insect proof tents for sleeping two with share showers and toilets.
3. Full available medical kits, including snake bite serum.
4. The provision of trained staff, gun bearers, trackers skinners, cooks, waiters and other camp assistants.
5. All meals using available fresh produce, game meat, canned goods, filtered water and available soft drinks.
6. One modern four wheel drive hunting vehicle per professional hunter.

The Selous Game Reserve , 54 000km of totally unspoilt wilderness and named after the renowned hunter and naturalist, Frederick Courtney Selous, a famous hunter and naturalist who was killed and buried there in the 1st World War, is the largest unexploited wildlife area in Africa. Through its terrain flows the mighty Rufiji, Ruaha and Kilombero rivers full of Hippopotamus and Crocodile. Our concession has good concentrations of Plains game, and large herds of Buffalo, resulting in a healthy lion and leopard population.

The game available to hunt includes Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Buffalo, Sable, Greater Kudu, Nyasa Wildebeest, Litchenstein's Hartebeest, Common Waterbuck, Hippopotamus, Chobe Bushbuck, Crocodile, Warthog, Bushpig, Zebra, Common Duiker and more. Excellent success rates on all species offered can be expected. The terrain varies from thick riverine bush to hilly mountainous miombo woodland.

CAMPS

Comfortable and convenient tented safari camps in typical East African traditional style are situated in pleasant surroundings. All tents are insect proof, have showers en suite, are well furnished and have a veranda in front where you sip your sundowner and relax after a hard day in the field. A central communal dining area with a view is where all the hunting adventures of the day are regaled. The camps are equipped with deep freezers, a generator and coleman lights. Your every need is attended to by the ever willing and competent staff.

For Plains game, a minimum of .300 Caliber rifle is recommended while for Big game a .416 / .458 is recommended with 375 H+H being the legal minimum requirement for Big game. We suggest you bring a good supply of ammunition as it is not usually available from local sources. Firearm permits are issued at your point of entry.

HUNTING REGULATIONS
Lion & Leopard Permits: The Tanzanian Wildlife Department regulation permits the hunting of both Lion and Leopard under the following conditions only:
21-Day Safari
1x1 - One Lion and one Leopard permit.
2x1 - The clients must share one Lion and one Leopard permit.
2x2 - Each client will have one Lion and one Leopard permit.
3x2 - The clients will share two Lion and two Leopard permits.
The Tanzanian Wildlife Department allows the following game to be hunted strictly on a minimum of a 21 day permit: Elephant; Lion; Leopard; Oryx; Greater Kudu; Eland; Gerenuk; Sable; Ostrich; Klipspringer; Hippopotamus; Puku; Roan and Porcupine. The minimum legal length for Leopard is 1.30 meters (51.2 inches) from tip of nose to base of tail. Minimum caliber size for dangerous game is .375 (9.3mm). Handgun hunting is strictly forbidden.
ELEPHANT HUNTING, CONDITIONS AND COST
Regulations for hunting stipulate that the legal minimum size of the ivory should be not less than 1.75 meters (69 inches) in length or less that 20kg (40 pounds). The hunting of Elephant requires good physical conditions as it involves walking long distances daily. Classical foot safaris with porters for periods of 3-7 days greatly increase chances for big Elephant.

The client must obtain a CITES import permit from his country. Only animals with each Tusk weighing at least 25 kg (50 lbs) or measuring at least 1,75 m long may be shot - one Elephant permit per client allowed on a minimum 21 day Safari. Quotas are limited and available permits depend upon the number of mature and qualifying Bulls in the areas prevalent at the time of the Safari.

A deposit of 50% on the safari rate is required to confirm bookings. The balance, including Government License Fees (Conservation Fees and Hunting Permits) is payable 70 days prior to commencement of the Safari.

Any cancellation of a reservation must be in writing and shall only be effective upon its acknowledged receipt by the Company. Cancellation charges shall apply in the following circumstances:
- If a safari is cancelled within 6 months of commencement, the full deposit will be forfeited
- Cancellation 6 months prior to Safari starting date, the full deposit is refunded less a 10% administration fees per hunting client handling fee.
- If you are a "no show", the Company shall be entitled to treat your reservation as cancelled without having given the Company any notice, and the provisions of the above
- Any request to vary your reservation must be in writing and the Company's agreement thereto shall be in its sole discretion. If the Company agrees to vary your reservation as requested, it resolves the right to charge an administration fee which shall be presented to you in writing and which is payable no later than 7 days after such notification
- No refunds are given:- (1) for lost travel time or substitution of facilities, (2) for itineraries amended after departure, (3) for circumstances arising beyond the Company's control, necessitating alternative arrangements be made to ensure the safety and/or further participation and enjoyment of your Safari, (4) if you do not appear for any accommodations, service, sightseeing or trip segment without notifying the Company, or (5) if you leave your Safari after it has begun, miss any scheduled sightseeing, activities or accommodations

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud
It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:
- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
- If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
- Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
