19h00 - Night Drive
This 3 hour nocturnal affair takes you along the 4x4 tracks in the Eastern Shores Reserve, where you may encounter various nocturnal residents. Sightings often often included Hippo, Buffalo, Rhino, Jackal, Leopard Kudu, Waterbuck, Owls, etc. Tour conducted in Open Safari Vehicle.

Day 2

06h30 - Breakfast at Umlilo Lodge
08h00 - Ocean Experience
Experience the thrill of surf launching. Two hours at sea, you might see, Dolphins, Sharks, Flying Fish, etc.
15H00 - Horse Riding
Two hour Beach ride along St Lucia's Golden beach and warm Indian Ocean

Crocodile Centre/ Snake Park
Up close and personal with Crocodiles and Snakes, learn more about these animals.
18h00 - Dinner in The Boma at Umlilo Lodge

Day 3

Two hours on Lake St Lucia, see Hippos, Crocks and abundant Bird life.
12h00 - Book out of Umlilo Lodge

Umlilo Lodge:
Umlilo Lodge is located in St. Lucia, a small coastal village surrounded by the Greater St. Lucia Wetland Park, South Africa's first National World Heritage Site, on the North Coast of KwaZulu Natal

Lake St. Lucia is a large estuarine lake abundant with hippo, crocodiles, fish and hundreds of bird species. The area comprises rivers, lakes, marsh, mangrove swamps and huge sand dunes, with beautiful unspoiled beaches.

We are walking distance from all the Shops. We also have a Boma where you can join us in the evenings around a fire (Umlilo) when having a Braai or Traditional Dinner in an African Pot.

Our 11 en-suit bedrooms are air-conditioned and has got TV's, 11 DSTV channels, Bar Fridges, etc. to make your visit as comfortable as possible. The bathrooms have got baths and showers. All the rooms over look the swimming pool. Relax on the wooden deck by the pool, in the air-conditioned library with free internet access, in the bar lounge which is surrounded by a fishpond or in the Boma around the fire.
