Itinerary
Day 1
Encounter Afrikaner history at the Voortrekker Monument; commemoration of freedom struggles at Freedom Park; past and present at Church Square and multicultural Marabastad.
After lunch, we visit Lady Selborne, where a forcibly removed community is now making a return. Listen to community history and visit a jazz tavern in the township of Atteridgeville.
