Itinerary

Day 1

On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Afternoon tour of Gold Reef City. Overnight at the Sunnyside Park Hotel. (Bed and Breakfast)

Day 2

Full day tour of Pretoria and Cullinan Diamond Mine with lunch en route. Overnight at the Sunnyside Park Hotel. (Bed and Breakfast)

Day 3

Travel via Nelspruit and Hazyview to the to the Kruger National Park. Overnight at a restcamp. (Dinner, Bed and Breakfast)

Day 4

Early Morning game drive before breakfast and then continue game drives until lunchtime. Leave the Kruger National Park and enter the Kingdom of Swaziland, stopping in the capital city, Mbabane, for a visit to the Swazi market. Overnight at a Hotel in the Ezulwini Valley. (Dinner, Bed and Breakfast)

Day 5

In the morning, drive past the National Stadium, King's Palace and Parliament Buildings. Drive down the Lowveld towards Big Bend and cross back into South Africa, heading for the Itala Game Reserve. Overnight at the Ntshondwe Camp. (Bed and Breakfast)

Day 6

Early morning drive before breakfast and then continue game drives until lunchtime. Leave Itala and travel to Ulundi, capital city of Zululand. Visit the ancient Kraal of King Cetshwayo, and get a briefing on Zulu cultures and traditions. Overnight at the Ulundi Holiday Inn. (Bed and Breakfast)

Day 7

Leave Ulundi and travel to Dingaan's Kraal where in 1838 an agreement was signed between the then Zulu King Dingaan and Voortrekker leader Piet Retief which eventually led to the Battle of Blood River. Travel through Natal en route to Durban. Overnight at the Elangeni Hotel. (Bed and Breakfast)

Day 8

Day at leisure to go to the beach, explore or take one of the optional tours. Overnight at the Elangeni Hotel. (Bed and Breakfast)

Day 9

City tour of Durban in the morning see the rickshaw pullers and the Durban Harbour. Visit the Botanical Garden and later the Indian market with time to bargain for souvenirs. Final stop at the Workshop, an outstanding shopping experience, before returning to the hotel. Afternoon transfer to Durban Airport for flight to Port Elizabeth. Overnight at the Elizabeth Holiday Inn. (Bed and Breakfast)

Day 10

After breakfast leave the "friendly city" towards the primeval forest of Tsikama. After a short break at Plettenberg Bay, head for Knysna with its magnificent Lagoon. Overnight at the Wilderness Garden Court. (Bed and Breakfast)

Day 11

After breakfast travel through George to Oudtshoorn and visit the Cango Caves and an Ostrich Farm. Overnight at the Oudtshoorn Garden Court. (Bed and Breakfast)

Day 12

After breakfast head for Mossel Bay then on to historical Swellendam. Travel via Sir Lowry's Pass to Cape Town at the St.Georges Hotel. (Bed and Breakfast)

Day 13

Depart from Cape Town to visit the famous Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. Continue via the Indian Coast Line into the Cape Point Nature Reserve. Lunch in the reserve then continue over Chapmans Peak, Llandudno, Clifton and cosmopolitan Sea Point to Cape Town and back to your hotel. Overnight at the St. Georges Hotel. (Bed and Breakfast)

Day 14

Tour of the "Mother City" including a visit to the South African Museum, the Malay Quarter and the harbour. Drive up Signal Hill and, weather permitting, visit the famous Table Mountain returning to the Hotel. Transfer to the airport to fly back to Johannesburg. Extended stay in Cape Town quoted on request.

  • Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
