ITINERARY
Day 1 - Johannesburg - Kruger Park - Pretoriuskop Camp Your Ranger will meet you at any Johannesburg or Pretoria hotel between 7.00-7.30am or meet you off your early morning flight, arriving at Johannesburg's Oliver Tambo Int Airport. You comfortably travel East for 4 hours to 'Nelspruit' the capital of Mpumalanga Province. At Nelspruit you have an opportunity to do some last minute shopping, to buy loads of film, some snacks, mosquito repellent etc. Leaving Nelspruit, you continue on towards Phumulani Lodge situated at Kruger Park's Numbi Gate. After enjoying a refreshing drink at the lodge, you transfer into one of our open game viewing vehicles. Your open vehicle safari of Kruger Park starts after your Ranger completing a safety briefing. On entering Kruger Park, you make your way towards Pretoriuskop camp. After check in and lunch (Own Account), we depart from camp at 14h30pm and enjoy a game drive, returning to camp at 17h30pm. Accommodation consists of twin bed bungalows with air-conditioning, linen and bath towels. Communal ablution facilities, which have showers, toilets and baths. Each chalet also comes with its own refrigerator to keep drinks cold. Dinner is for your own account and can be enjoyed at either the restaurants Cafeteria which offers burgers, salads, fish and chips, etc or in the Restaurant itself at R145 per person. Dinners in the main restaurant consist of a buffet selection of a variety of starters, salads, mains and desserts
Day 2 - Kruger National Park � Pretoriuskop Camp (B) The day starts early with a wake up call at 5.00am. At 6.00am the camp gates open so we can start the day's open game viewing. We visit Skukuza camp at approx 09h00 am when it's time to have some breakfast and of course, have a good stretch. Breakfast is included in your safari and can be enjoyed in the camps restaurants and are all buffet options with a selection of meats, eggs, cereals, cold cuts, yogurts, fruits etc�. After breakfast, we continue open game viewing, stopping off at water holes, following river lines, checking dams for the rest of the morning and early afternoon. Your Ranger spots you lots of wildlife - a herd of Buffalos at a water hole, Eagles in the afternoon sky, Giraffes grazing off the Acacia trees with their necks stretched to the limit. Birds are spotted all the time. Zebra and Wildebeest grazing the open grass areas, keeping a watchful eye out for predators. You see more Elephants passing near by. Arriving back at camp for 12h00pm you then have a chance to check the curio shop, stock up with drinks enjoy a siesta or refreshing swim in the pool, before departing at 15h30pm for an afternoon game drive returning to camp before gate closing. A night safari can be arranged if you require and costs R250 per person and departs from the reception at 16h45pm returning at 20h00pm. Or if you prefer a guided bush walk this can be arranged at R300 per person. Dinner can be enjoyed once again in either the Cafeteria or Restaurant. (Own Account).
Day 3 - Kruger Park - Johannesburg (B) The last morning's open game viewing drive departs at 6h00am returning to camp for breakfast, before departing at 10h00am and making our way slowly out of the park . Saying goodbye to Kruger Park you arrive at Phumulani Lodge, where everyone transfers all their belongings out of the open vehicle into an enclosed vehicle. On your comfortable homeward bound journey we pass back through Nelspruit and make our way on towards Johannesburg arriving at either your hotel or airport between 15h00pm and 16h00pm.
