Quad Biking near Cape Town and Hermanus is a fabulous way to explore the amazing countryside with the rush of zooming along on a 250cc 4-wheeled monster, high up into the mountain ranges, wine farms & flower farms. No previous experience is needed and you will receive a 10 minute training session before heading off to explore the countryside with your Tour Guide. Bring a camera...:-))
Itinerary
Day 1
Quad Biking is a great activity that the whole family can enjoy, with thankfully no special licences and no advance training needed. After a short briefing on what to do, you strap on your helmet, mount your multi-coloured beast and you are off throwing up a dust cloud behind you for the person following to eat. These modern 250cc quad bikes are quite powerful, have automatic gears (so theres no fiddling about with gear selection), have lots of soft suspension so that your ride is comfy, have all the lights a car have (therefore making indicating or braking obvious for all to see) and big fat knobbly tyres to grip the ground. There are many amazing scenic routes to discover, from wine farms and fields of grape vines, flower farms, olive groves, 4 x 4 trails, forests, sand dunes and mountain ranges. Wherever you explore with the air zipping past your face, you are bound to have incredible scenery around every corner, so remember to take your camera. Whether it's for a family, a bunch of friends or for a corporate team building event, quad biking is an excellent sport that will have you smiling and laughing. One of our recent tour group members loved his first quad biking trip so much, that as soon as he got home he bought himself a quad bike on eBay. Now if that isn't a seal of approval of an excellent day's adventures, then I don't know what is. :-)))

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud
It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:
- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
- If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
- Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
