Itinerary
Day 1
Leaving from either The coastal towns through the Namib-Naukluft Park we pass through the Kuiseb and Gaub Canyons along the route to Sesriem Campsite.Arriving mid-afternoon we quickly put up camp and then onto a vantage point to enjoy the view of the sun setting.Tours departing from Windhoek will follow the route over either the Gamsberg or Spreetshoogte Pass.Same program at Sesriem.
Day 2
Early morning rise to enable us to get to Dune 45 in time for sunrise.We head onto Sossusvlei and have breakfast here ubder the Camelthorn trees.You now have the choice of walking up the dune at Sossusvlei and view the stunning sight from the top of the dune or we do a tour along the vlei.Animal life found on the dunes will be shown and discussed.The walk to the tranquil setting of Deadvlei will be our next step and here you can spend some time photographing the scenery and enjoy the magnificent scenery and experience the solitude of the vlei.You have the choice to relax in the shade of the trees at Deadvlei parking or we continue onto Hiddenvlei where we walk to this remote location.The walk can be demanding in the heat, but the utter silence and scenery makes this a very special location.When we get back to the car we can either drive to the campsite or carry on towards Sesriem Canyon where we walk in this geological marvel of over 2 million years of age. We head back to the campsite after viewing sunset from the rim of the canyon.
Day 3
A leisurely wakeup today and after a hearty breakfast we pack up and head back to the starting point of the tour.The route back to Windhoek will be over Bullspoort and the route back to the coastal towns will be the same as on day 1 with a few stops inbetween.

- The tour starting from the coastal town of Swakopmund can include a different route through the Namib section of the Namib-Naukluft Park.We will stop along the route at the quivertrees found at Blutkoppe.We'll then have lunch at the campsite near the waterhole of Ganab and here you might see some Oryx, Springbok and Ostrich.The routetakes us to the C14 where we then continue along the same route to Sesriem.Our arrival will then be late afternoon at Sesriem.
Sunscreen during the day is a must and some warm clothing in the winter months.A hat is needed throughout the year.
Vegetarian diets can be catered for and on booking a tour or enquiring about it please state your dietary requirements. Water will be supplied.No softdrinks or alcohol included.
All tents and sleepingbags supplied.2Persons of same sex or couple shares a tent.If unwilling to share an aditional tent can be provided at cost.
