Namibia with its coast along the nutrient rich Atlantic ocean has a selection of fish species to target. Kob, WestCoast Steenbras, Galjoen. A copper shark, a test of endurance and stamina.

Itinerary

Day 1

Leaving early in the morning from either Walvis Bay or Swakopmund to the fishing spots, weather and tide dependant ,the guide will try to put you at the most productive areas.
All bait and equipment are supplied and you only bring yourself, warm clothes, a hat and sunscreen. Don't be fooled when the sun is behind the fog, it is then very effective in burning a sensitive skin to shreds.
A lunchpack will be served as wellas light refreshments and water.
The guide will see to the cleaning of your catch and if requested get your catch frozen for you.

Extras -
The above tour can be extended into a 7 day angling tour ,accommodation can be arranged in my B&B/Self Catering and everything organised.
The tour will the be done on the basis that fishing most compatabile with that days conditions will be done and a skiboat trip for inshore fishing or in the summer months maybe a trip out to fish for snoek. Shark fishing will be fitted in and done when conditions are right.

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud

It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:

  • It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
  • If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
  • Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
