Itinerary

Day 1

8am (your Hotel Reception) transfer from Marrakech across the Tizi-n-Tichka road pass to Ouarzazate; continue past the lush palmeries and crumbling Kasbahs of the Draa Valley to Zagora. Hotel with evening meal and breakfast.

Day 2

Transfer to M'hamid via Tamgroute and cross a desert wilderness, via the Sacred Heart Oasis, to the sand dunes of Erg Chagaga. Overnight under the stars in a Desert Camp with evening meal and breakfast.

Day 3

Spend a day exploring this protected desert wilderness, in your private 4x4 with local driver, and relax to the pace of desert life. Sunset camel trek with a desert guide. Overnight under the stars in a Desert Camp with evening meal and breakfast.

Day 4

Transfer from Erg Chagaga via the salt flats of Lake Iriqui to Ouarzazate. Hotel with evening meal and breakfast.

Day 5

Transfer to the World Heritage Site of Ait Benhaddou and continue, off-road in Summer months, to the Berber village of Telouet; visit the abandoned Kasbah of el Glaoui, former Pasha of Marrakech. Lunch and continue to Marrakech.
