Itinerary

Day 1

8am (at your Riad or Hotel) meet your driver and transfer, in a private Toyota Land Cruiser, across the Tizi-n-Tichka to the High Atlas Berber village of Telouet. This is a wonderful drive with far-reaching views across the mountains and valleys.

On arrival take an easy walking tour, with a local guide, to include the Kasbah of el Glaoui, former Berber War Lord and Pasha of Marrakech. The tour gives you a real sense of how a Pasha would have lived. Time permitting, walk along the valley floor where the local community grows crops e.g. mint, alfalfa and cereals.

Lunch in Telouet at a Berber Family Guesthouse and depart to Marrakech for an early evening arrival after an interesting and eventful day. Drop off at your hotel.Time permitting, with an early start, there is also the opportunity to visit the World Heritage Site of Ait Benhaddou, one of Morocco's most spectacular ksours (fortified villages).
