Itinerary

Day 1

Spend your Holiday in Marrakech and take part in cultural significant activities. You will take part in Modern Standard Arabic lessons which will give you the opportunity to learn common phrases in the Arabic language, visit museums and historical sites. This program enables you to get a real inside view on the Moroccan culture.

Day 2

A strong emphasis on culture is desired with guided tours and interaction with people of Morocco. Participants will receive up to 10 classroom hours of cultural exposure each week to include the introductory Arabic instruction. The institute offers language exchange opportunities while interacting with young Moroccans who study English.

Day 3

Participants will receive up to 10 classroom hours of cultural exposure each week to include the introductory Arabic instruction. A strong emphasis on culture is desired with guided tours and interaction with people of Morocco . The majority of the time is requested to be spent in culturally significant activities. Examples: museums, historical sites, unique topographical features impacting the culture, significant social, ethnic and /or religious focal points, …

Day 4

* Airport Pick up and drop out in Marrakech

* On- Arrival orientation upon arrival in Marrakech, to learn about the country, its culture, the issue of multilingualism, to learn how to travel safely, to have an overview on medical issues and be oriented on how to prepare for living and volunteering in Morocco.

* On site coordination and advising

* A certificate of participation at the end of the program

* Volunteer placement (1 to 12 weeks)
