Itinerary

Day 1

Welcome to Morocco! Arrive Marrakech airport and transfer to a traditional Moroccan Riad in the centre. Be sure to arrive in time for the welcome meeting at 6pm. Dinner & overnight – Marrakech

Day 2

Marrakech – Imi-n-Oughlad -Tizi Oussem– breakfast. Departing Marrakech this morning, we take a scenic drive into the Atlas Mountains to Imi-n-Oughlad, the starting point of our High Atlas adventure! Here we meet the cooks and team, with their sturdy mules, who will be trekking with us for the next 5 days.

Day 3

Tizi oussem – tizi m’zzik – imlil
After breakfast, we strike out up through pine and juniper trees to travel the tizi M’zzik 2450m and descent slowly to the foot of the col just before the hamlet of Imlil vally

Day 4

Imlil – Tizi Ntamatere – Tachdirth
From Imlil, set out along a piste for a 1.75-hour hike towards the east up to the Tizi n’Tamaterte (2279m) and on through fields of barley and orchards of walnuts, apple and cherry trees until you reach the village of Tamaterte.

Tachdirth-Imeskar

Day 6

Imeskar- Imi-n-oughlad - marrakech
