Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival at Tripoli Airport or at the Tunisian-Libyan border, drive to Abu-Kemmash, and then a boat crossing to the island of Farwa. Prepare dinner and set up camp.
Day 2
Full day at the island, swimming, sunbathing and cooking on camp fire. Walk around the island to explore the unique landscape of the island.
Day 3
Another half day on the island, lunch, then take the boat back to Abu-Kemmash, and from there either to the nearby Tunisian border, or drive to Zwara, quick tour of the city, then continue to Sabratha for a brief visit, before heading for Tripoli Airport.

You pay nothing until the day of arrival in Libya.If arriving at Tripoli: a drive to Zwara, quick tour of the city, then a short drive to the fishing-village of Abu-kemmash, for a boat-crossing to Farwa. Farwa is a long and narrow strip of clean sand dunes, covered with small hills of palm trees, overlooking the sea on both sides, and is an excellent place for a weekend break by one of Libya's best beaches. As a local Libyan tour operator, we highly recommend this tour for a short, quite and private break away from busy city life. Visa Update: a new Libyan law issued last November requires all visitors to be part of a group of five or more. This means that this tour will be available only of the minimum of five has been reached.
