Day 1

Arrival – Nairobi City
On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you will be met by our Tour Manager and driver/guide who will brief you about your safari then be transferred to your hotel for rest and overnight stay.

Day 2

Nairobi City Tour (Giraffe Centre, Animal Orphanage, Nairobi Safari Walk, National Museums of Kenya)

After breakfast at your hotel, you will depart for a visit to Giraffe Centre where you can get a chance to feed the giraffes. Afterwards you will visit the animal orphanage and Nairobi safari walk for a chance to spot animals which are in recuperation or sick animals yet to be released to the wild. You will break for lunch at the Carnivore Restaurant then visit the National Museums of Kenya where you will have a glimpse of various communities living in Kenya. In the evening you will be transferred back to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3

Nairobi – Lake Nakuru National Park.

After your breakfast, you will depart to Lake Nakuru National Park which is located in the Rift Valley. You will arrive in time for lunch at your lodge then afterwards at 4.00pm, depart for game viewing till evening.
Dinner and overnight at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge or similar.

Day 4

Lake Nakuru – Samburu National Reserve

Early in the morning, enjoy pre breakfast game viewing then return to your lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, you will depart Lake Nakuru and head into Samburu National Reserve arriving in time for lunch at your lodge. After lunch, you will depart for afternoon game viewing. In the evening you will be transferred back to your lodge for rest, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5

Samburu National Reserve (2 Full Days)

Spend these lovely days within this beautiful reserve game viewing and photograph taking with regular breaks as per your preference. You will have picnic lunches and all other meals at your lodge. In the afternoon you may also opt to go for a cultural visit to the nearby villages at an extra cost ($25 per person). In the evening, you will be transferred back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

In addition to Kamunyak, the renowned lioness famous for adopting oryx calves, the Samburu National Park boasts of some several species of animals which are considered unique to the region, including its unique dry-country animal life. All three big cats, Lion, Cheetah and Leopard can be found here, as well as Elephants, Buffalos and Hippos. Other mammals frequently seen in the park include Gerenuk, Grant's gazelle, Kirk's Dik-dik, Impala, Waterbuck, Grevy's Zebra, Beisa Oryx and Reticulated Giraffe. Rhinos are no longer present in the park due to heavy poaching. There are over 350 species of birds which include Somali Ostrich, Kingfisher, Sunbird, Bee-eater, Marabou Stork, Tawny Eagle, Bateleur, Guinea fowl and Vultures. The Ewaso Nyiro River contains large numbers of the Nile crocodile.

Tour Samburu National Park

Day 7

Samburu National Reserve – Aberdare National Park
Enjoy early morning pre breakfast game viewing before returning to your lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, depart Samburu and head into Aberdare National Park, which is a break on your way to Maasai Mara. Arrive in time for lunch at The Ark. After lunch, you will then spend the afternoon at leisure watching game from your lodge balcony.
Dinner and Overnight Stay will be at the Ark .

Day 8

Aberdare National Park – Maasai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, depart Aberdare National Park for Maasai Mara National Reserve arriving in time for check in and lunch at your game camp. After lunch and rest, you will go for afternoon game viewing drive till evening.
Dinner and overnight will be at Sarova Mara Game Camp or similar

Day 9

Maasai Mara National Reserve (2 Full Days)

You will spend two full days game viewing, which includes going up to the Mara River where the migration of wildebeests and zebras takes place annually from Serengeti. You will also have the option of taking a pre-breakfast balloon flight safari, at an extra cost. You may also opt to go for a cultural visit to the nearby Maasai Steppes for a familiarization tour at an extra cost.

Day 10

Optional Hot Air Balloon Flight
You can opt to carry out your game viewing activity on an adventurous balloon flight over the spectacular Mara at an extra cost. This package includes a bush breakfast in the wild!

All meals and overnight will be at Sarova Mara Game Camp or similar.

Day 11

Maasai Mara National Reserve - Nairobi
Early in the morning, enjoy pre breakfast game viewing then return to your game camp for breakfast. After breakfast, you will depart from the Mara Reserve and head back to Nairobi arriving in time for late lunch at the Carnivore Restaurant. After your lunch, you will be checked in to your hotel for rest, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 12

Nairobi – Amboseli National Park
After breakfast depart Nairobi for Amboseli National Park arriving in time for lunch at your lodge. After lunch, depart for game viewing at 4.00pm till evening. In the evening, you will be transferred back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Dinner and overnight stay at the Amboseli Sopa Lodge or similar.

Day 13

Amboseli National Park (Full Day)

After breakfast, you will depart with packed lunch for game viewing till evening. In the evening, you will be transferred back to your lodge for overnight stay and dinner. You may also choose to visit the nearby Maasai villages for a cultural visit at an extra cost.

Day 14

Amboseli National Park – Nairobi – Departure
Early morning game viewing will be followed by breakfast at your lodge. After breakfast, you will carry packed picnic lunch and check out of your lodge and depart Amboseli for Nairobi. You will arrive in the evening and be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your outbound flight to your next destination.
End of safari.

The Giraffe Center was started by Jock Leslie-Melville, the Kenyan grandson of a Scottish Earl, when he and his wife Betty captured a baby giraffe to start a program of breeding giraffe in captivity at their home in Langata - home of the present centre. Since then the program has had huge success, resulting in the introduction of several breeding pairs of Rothschild Giraffe into Kenyan national parks. The Giraffe Centre is located Langata, approximately 5 km from the centre of Nairobi, Kenya. It was established in order to protect the endangered Rothschild giraffe, Giraffa Camelopardalis Rothschild that is found only in the grasslands of Africa. In 1979, Leslie-Melville added an education centre to his (then still private) giraffe sanctuary. By 1983 he had raised enough money to establish the Giraffe Visitor's Centre as a tourist destination in Nairobi. The center is also home to several warthogs which freely roam the area along with the giraffes. The main attraction for visitors is feeding giraffes from a raised observation platform.
Samburu National Reserve is a wildlife haven. Here you will spot Africa's big cats-lions, cheetahs and the elusive leopard. Some animals are unique to this northern Kenya Park; gravy's zebra, reticulated giraffe, kudus and gerenuk. The Ewaso Nyiro River, the boundary with the neighboring buffalo springs national reserve, is where the elephants buffaloes and other animal species gather for a drink. You will find the scenic semiarid landscape quite dramatic. The reserve is located within the lands of the colorful semi-nomadic Samburu tribesmen.
