Itinerary

Day 1

Addis Ababa- Awassa
After break fast head to Langano resort, where you can enjoy swimming the Bilharzias free lake. En route visit two of the crater lakes in the small town of Debre-Zeit. Also visit the Abiyata-Shalla National Park to admire the two twin lakes and other bird species near by the shore. Then continue driving to Awassa. En route visit the "Ras-Teferians" Village at the town of Shashemene. Up on arrival in Awassa have refreshing time by the small Rift Valley lake of Awassa and also in the newly bustling time. Day 2

Awassa- Arba Minch (The colorful Monday Dorze Market in Chencha)
Early in the morning visit the big open-air fish market of Awassa and have a break fast. Drive to Arba Minch en route visit the famous Dorze village that are known with bamboo bee hut village and cotton woven clothes. Overnight Tourist hotel

Day 3

Arba Minch
Have a full day visit to the Nech sar National park and after lunch break admire the Crocodile Market on Lake Chamo. Overnight Tourist hotel

Day 4

Arba Minch- Jinka
Take an early break fast and continue the drive to Jinka, one of the relatively big Town in the Omo Valley. This will be a day to admire the spectacular topography which continues to descend down to the Omo and characterized by warm temperature. If the day falls on Thursday there will be a colorful market in Key Afer where one can have the chance to see different tribes such as the Ari and Bena. Overnight Orit Hotel

Day 5

Jinka-Mago-Mursi-Jinka
After an early break fast in the hotel have a day excursion to the settlement of the Mursi people known for their lip plating, body decorating and stick fighting culture. Take time by having picture and personal contact with the people and back to Jinka. There is a picnic lunch en route. Overnight Orit Hotel

Day 6

Jinka- Turmi
After break fast in the hotel drive to Turmi, a settlement for the Hamer people very much known for their colorful hair style and bull jumping tradition at times of wedding. The ladies normally are adorned by leather made skirts decorated by sounding pearls and by gleaming aluminum normally fixed to their neck. Overnight Evangadi Lodge camping

Day 7

Turmi- Omo rate- Turmi
After break fast in the camping area drive to Omo Rate, the final bordering zone of Ethiopia and Kenya. Cross the Omo River and visit the Geleb people and back to Turmi. Have lunch in the camping area. In the day is Sunday then there is a chance to see the Dimeka market, where you can see a combination of tribes like the Tsemay, Ari, Bena and Hamer doing their weekly transactions. Day 8

Turmi-Konso
Have break fast and head back to Konso. En route visit the Erbore people which shares many cultural features with the Oromo people in Borena and continue driving to Konso, a settlement for the Konso people which has got real African village and are known for their grave signs. Take time of picture and visit in the village. Overnight St. Mary Hotel

Day 9

Konso- Wendo Genet
Drive back to Wendo genet resort center for taking some relaxation and free time by the hot spring and also the near by forest. O/n Shebelle resort

Day 10

Wendo Genet- Nazreth- Sodore
After taking break fast in the lodge head to Sodore hot spring site via Nazareth, which has acted as a capital for the Oromo people till recent time and also acts as a major cattle collection center of the region. Overnight Mekonen Hotel

Day 11

Sodore- Addis Ababa

After a break fast and morning bath in the hot spring of Sodore, head back to Addis Ababa. Up on arrival in Addis have time of shopping and in the evening transfer to the Airport for departure back home.
