Itinerary
Day 1
Day 1Cairo/Marsa Matrouh/Siwa Oasis
Transport from the bus station in Cairo in an air-conditioned bus en route to Marsa Matrouh. Departure shall be on 6:45 pm and arrival 12:30 pm, then you will take the bus further to Siwa Oasis at 13:30 pm. Upon the arrival in Siwa, you will be welcomed and accompanied by one of our representatives till your hotel. Night at hotel.
Day 2
Day 2 Siwa Oasis
After breakfast, you will visit the Mountain of the Dead, the Museum of Siwa houses and the ancient Shali Fortress, then the Oracle Temple, where the hall of Alexander the Great is, and finally the ruins of Amon Temple. We will visit Cleopatra pond in Dakrour Mountain for its hot water and hot bathes known for its natural healing powers of rheumatism and other bone maladies. Night at hotel.
Day 3
Day 3 Siwa Oasis
After breakfast, we will ride Jeeps to go to water bathes at salt Lake of Bir Wahed, known for its hot water of (37 C). We will stop to wonder at the mountains of fossils and the sand sheets of the hottest place in Siwa. Grilled food at dinner and night will be spent under the starry sky.
Day 4
Day 4 Siwa Oasis
Breakfast, then a trip to the longest hills of sand (80 m approximately) in the eastern desert. We will roam Abou-Shrouf, the biggest source of pure water, then we shall follow to Zauton (Abou Shrouf village) to enjoy their oil of the Roman olives, the Roman black tombs and the new Roman tombs (full of skeletons). En route back to Siwa Oasis, we will visit Koraishset springs and Safi spring (source of pure water). Night at hotel.
Day 5
Day 5 Siwa Oasis/Marsa Matrouh/ Cairo
After breakfast, we will take the bus to Marsa Matrouh, leave at 10:00 am and arrive at 14:00 pm, then take the bus to Cairo at 17:30 pm.
