Itinerary

Day 1

You will be met & assisted by our representative at port Said and then you will be transferred to Cairo by a private air-conditioned vehicle to enjoy an excursion to visit the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren and Mykerinus & see the Sphinx , which was discovered in 1912 carved from a single piece of stone, it is a lion with a portrait of a Pharaoh's head, it is also believed by many to be a likeness of Pharaoh Kefren. and then to Valley Temple. Then pay avisit to the Step Pyramids of Zoser, the world's oldest major stone structure. It was built in the 3rd Dynasty (around 2630 BC) for King Djoser. The step Pyramid of Sakkarra is considered as an evolution in the concept of pyramids, from the simple mastaba to the pyramids in its final form in the region in Sakkara. It was built as step pyramid, its height is 60 meters and consists of 6 steps on top of each other, each is smaller than the one below . After that enjoy a felucca ride on the river Nile to discover the beauty of the lush green landscape surrounding the Nile . At night optional sound & light show at Giza Pyramids Area .Overnight in Cairo .

Day 2

Breakfast in the hotel , pay a visit to the Egyptian Museum where you can see the collection of Tutankhamun among other splendid pharaonic artifacts & it exhibits over 120000 objects. Then proceed to visit Salah El-Din Citadel that rises on The Hill of Al-Moqattam, in one of the highest areas in Cairo. It’s about 800 years old, but still firm and grand and there you will visit Mohammed Ali’s Mosque . Finally visit khan El Khalili which is a major souk in the Old City of Cairo and a major tourist attraction. The district is one of Cairo's main attractions . Drive back to your cruise ship .
