Benin is one our tour the most explored. It begins by the visit of the Government district, the Ganhi market zone, the international Dantokpa market with its luring traders, the handicraft center.
Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival at the Airport. Boarder and customs formalities. Transfer to hotel. Overnight at Hotel. Includes: (D).
Day 2
After breakfast we drive to Ouidah - the slave town and home to the vodoun traditions. Courtesy call to Dagbo Hounon, visit the sacred forest of Kpasse, the Portuguese fort-now the history museum of Ouidah, the temple of phyton and take the slave route up to the door of No Return where you will participate in the celebrations marking the Vodoun National Day. Drive to Cotonou. Overnight at Hotel. Includes: (D).
Day 3
After breakfast depart for Ganvie - a must see lake village with its 25000 and more inhabitants! Explore in a motor boat its floating market, streets, schools, the madina arts center, and etc all on water! We continue our drive to Abomey the capital of the former Dahoxme Kingdom. On our way we will stop at the memorial of Toussaint Louverture at Allada, birthplace of all the Kingdoms south of present day Republic of Benin. Continue to Abomey and visit the Monument at Goho square in honor of Behanzin-one of the 12 kings that reigned in the Dahoxme kingdom. Then continue to the history museum of Abomey classified as world heritage by UNESCO. The visit will enable us to explore the richness of the Dahoxme kingdom. Overnight in Abomey
Day 4
After breakfast depart for Parakou - the most important commercial town in Northern Benin. On our way stop at Dassa - the Catholic sanctuary, with the most important catholic pilgrimage held in West Africa in August. Arrive in Parakou and visit the Azreke International Market. Overnight in Parakou.
Day 5
After breakfast we leave Parakou for Natitingou via Djougou the city with 6 crossroad. Also visit the Taneka village on the hills. Pay a courtesy call on the Chief and meet also the high priest with his long pipe-about one meter! Arrive Natti. Overnight at Natti.
Day 6
After breakfast we will visit the Tatas - the famous fortified castles to protect the watamari people from slave invaders and tribal conflicts. Then continue to Abomey via Savalou. Overnight in Abomey.
Day 7
After breakfast drive to Cotonou. Afternoon at leisure, then transfer to Airport

- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
- If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
- Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
