Metropolitan Park - Surrounded by trees and gigantic works of art, this park in the centre of Quito has 557 hectares, where you can see more than 70 species of birds and also enjoy a mountain cycle track, camping and picnic sites, soccer, volleyball and basketball fields and a skating track.
Park the Ejido - The park marks the division between the old and new city and has over 1470 species of native plants, like cholan, alder, chamburo and the guabos. On weekends, a market is held, where you can buy artworks, silver jewellery and ponchos.

Sushi Itto - Quicentro Shopping, Naciones Unidas y 6 Diciembre. Although its speciality is seafood and fish, especially, it does also offer some authentic Ecuadorian-style food at reasonable prices.
