Located in the Umpqua National Forest, Mt Bailey has 2 snowcats and a capacity of 12 skiers per day. Mt Bailey has steep, wide open runs as well as tree runs that are at a moderate pitch and because of the general difficulty of the terrain, skiers and snowboarders have to be 16 years or older and experianced in powder, tree and steep terrain.

The snow conditions at Mt Bailey are very unpredictable and can change from day to day and even from hour to hour. Visitors are usually taken out in a group at about 6am and ski a range of terrain throughout the day from difficult to easy. Equipment and ski rental is also available.
