LOCAL ATTRACTIONS
Nearby Attractions: There is not a lot to do in Winter Park other than ski in winter. The Cozens Ranch House Museum is one of the few attractions that remain open in winter Wednesdays to Saturdays from 11am to 4pm.
Here you will be able to take a look back to Colorado’s pioneer days. The 1870s homestead includes a fully restored residence; a small hotel, a post office and stagecoach stop with a replica of the stagecoach that travelled these routes around the end of the 19th century. For sightseeing nothing compares to a ride in a hot air balloon, enquire at the resort for details.
Aprés-Ski: In the small town of Winter Park you will find Dino’s Mountain Bistro, one of the most popular restaurants in town. Upstairs is a sports pub; downstairs is a fine dining restaurant. Rome on the range offers a wide selection of dishes, specialising in steaks cooked on a wood-fired grill. The Crooked Creek Saloon features live music with dancing as well as pool tables.
The Winter Park Pub is extremely popular with locals and boasts 15 beers on tap with reasonable pricing.
