Having four different ski resorts all located within 20 minutes of each other, Summit County presents some of the best winter amenities and the most diverse terrain in the world.
The vast terrain of Vail, combined with Arapahoe Basin, and its untracked steeps, Keystone and night skiing, Copper Mountain's naturally divided slopes, and the four peaks of Breckenridge, all offer winter sports and activities of every description.

Nearby Attractions: With all that is available in this vast area, from concerts, ballet and live theatres at the Vilar Centre in Vail, to hot air balloon rides, gondola rides, as well as boating, fishing, and sailing on Lake Dillon, visitors can entertain themselves to the full, and then come back for more.
Breckenridge has over 75 restaurants, bars, and spas, as well and other attractions such as the Country Boy Mine, which offers underground tours. Walking trails leading through the magnificent Rocky Mountains, sleigh rides, snowmobiling, and snowshoeing, are some of the outdoor activities that await you at Summit County Colorado's Playground.

Aprés-Ski: The free local transit system provides easy access to and from nearly all of the resorts making all the available apres ski more or less at one’s doorstep.
Keystone is a great base for apres-ski, with wine tasting, and venues for evenings of drinks and celebration, but Vail offers even livelier goings-on. With live entertainment at McCoy’s Cafe and Bar at Beaver Creek, and JJ’s Rocky Mountain Tavern at Copper Mountain with its wild West flavour, and all the bars restaurants, and hotels that abound in the area there is enough to entertain and amuse the most jaded visitor.
