The world’s highest four-passenger chair lift, the Poma, is located at Loveland, carrying passengers to a height of 12,700 feet.
Although the skiing area in total is not huge, it does offer a remarkable combination of terrain with steeps, glades, open bowls, and bumps, that provides the beginner through to the expert varying degrees of challenge. Boarders find the more aggressive terrain of Loveland Basin particularly good.
