LOCAL ATTRACTIONS
Nearby Attractions: Steamboat Springs is full of off-slope winter activities, and visitors can go for hot-air-balloon rides, sleigh rides, and have fun snowmobiling. There are also indoor courts for tennis, and for a real treat to soothe away your aches and pains, the natural hot springs.

In summer hike through the Routt National Forest, or picnic beside the Yampa River, where you can also go rafting and kayaking.
Aprés-Ski: The many nearby hotels offer great apres-ski, with pubs and restaurants, where you can relax or raise Cain, depending on your preference. The Sheraton, for instance, offers warm wood decor and smooth ambience in the 3 Saddles Bar and Grille for dining, but also has the livelier and definitely more raucous Bear River to really let go and have fun.
