Eldora Mountain Resort is located 21 miles from Boulder, and is the closest skiing to Denver. Families can enjoy a full range of winter activities from snowboarding, snowshoeing and downhill skiing to cross country skiing.
The resort also has the Eldorables Children's Center to give parents the chance to leave their kids in safety while enjoying the more difficult slopes.

Nearby Attractions: Golden Gate Canyon State Park has about 45 miles of trails that meander through the Ponderosa pine forests, past streams and dramatic rock formations, making it a favourite for campers, hikers, bikers and fishermen. Picnics in meadows filled with wildflowers are a great summertime attraction and in winter, cross-country skiers take full advantage of the park.
Humphrey Memorial Park & Museum in nearby Boulder is a National Historic Landmark ranch house that has a rock walled courtyard and gazebo, and is available not only as a tourist attraction, but also for special events.

Aprés-Ski: Eldora does not have a great after dark scene but visitors can find plenty apres ski in nearby Boulder, here visitors will find restaurants, gambling, nightclubs and cinemas, in fact everything needed for a night out on the town.
Pioneer Inn’s decor of wagon wheels, saddles, and cowboy gear makes it a rustic venue filled with history, and the food is traditional Mexican and American. Live music livens the place over weekends, and makes it one of Boulder’s favourite watering holes.
Denver is also close by and offers great entertainment.
