The Bear Valley Ski resort is situated in California. The resort offers many hours of enjoyment for people of all ages. It offers a total of 1280 acres of skiing, as well as 11 lifts and 10 slopes which are best equipped for intermediates, but also offers a good selection of skiing opportunities for beginners and experts.

The resort is home to an excellent ski school, which is well equipped for training beginners and children. The apre ski scene is very laid-back and relaxed and consists predominantly of a couple of hotels and some nice restaurants. Other activities of interest include ice skating, hiking, snowshoeing, sleigh rides, kayaking, fishing, rock climbing and whitewater rafting.

Nearby Attractions: People who wish to take a break from skiing can venture into the nearest town of Sacramento. The town is home to the California State Railroad Museum, which is a brilliant place to start off a day of sightseeing.

The museum has become one of the most popular attractions in the town and attracts more than 500,000 guests annually. Another excellent place to visit is the Crocker Art Museum which is housed inside a large 19th century building.

The museum is home to a large selection of different forms of artwork from Nothern California.

The California State Capitol and Museum is home to the California Legislature and features a public museum.
