Nearby Attractions: Visit the Oliver museum and sense the life of the early days of the area, from fur traders to gold miners, farming and now the vineyards. See the old Fairview jail, built in the late 1800's and enjoy the exhibits of mining and agricultural equipment used through the ages.
For those who still have energy after the slopes, go on the Heritage walk and see the sights of places like the Oliver Theatre, St Edward the Confessor Anglican Church built in 1950 and view the oldest church in the area, the United Church. |
