With Olympic gold medallist Nancy Greene as the director of skiing as well as the hotel manager, this newly revamped ski area is a good competitor for other ski resorts. Just 45 minutes from Kamloops, it has a vertical drop of 2,841 ft and a run of 8 kilometers. There are plenty of activities for the non-skiers and the kids are well catered for.
The Tube Park is loads of fun and the children can fly down the tube of air cushions. There is a sports centre with hot tubs to relax in as well as a wide variety of ways to explore the surrounding terrain, from dog sledding and horse sleighs to Cat skiing and snowboarding tours. |
