Les Portes du Soleil is the largest linked ski area in the world, and consists of 14 resorts from Lake Geneva in Switzerland through to Mont Blanc in France. The top resorts in the Portes Soleil include Avoriaz; Chatel; Les Gets; and Morzine in France, and Les Crosets; Morgins; Champery-Planachaux; and Torgon in Switzerland.
The runs offered throughout the ski area provide something for skiers of all levels of ability and experience. Its best to check each resort's selection of runs before you go to them. There are many snow parks, with hal-pipes and hand rails, located in many of the resorts of the area. All in all, Les Portes du Soleil is one of the best places to go for an unforgettable skiing holiday, with so much on offer you might have to make it an extended holiday.
