Gstaad is part of the Adelboden ski area, which consists of five domains. Three of them are lift-accessed from Gstaad and the other two are linked by an excellent bus service. There are over 200km of runs, most of the best suited for beginners and intermediates. Experts have to look around for some off-piste and black runs.

There are also 2 half-pipes and a park to keep the snow boarders happy. Gstaad is a quiet and traditional Alpine village, with some of the most amazing scenery. There are also a number of non-skiing activities on offer. The Apres-ski scene is a little on the quiet side, with it being mostly based in hotels; restaurants; and bars. There is also a good ski school, which is best suited for children.
