Grindelwald is the oldest of the three Jungfrau resorts, but also the least known. It is situated at the base of the Eiger and its setting and views are amazing, which make it one of the most picturesque resorts. Grindelwald has the longest sledge run in Europe, 15km long.

The skiing is best suited for intermediates, but there are also some great areas for experts who don't mind to travel slightly. Grindelwald is a great place for families to go on skiing holidays, with an excellent ski school for people of all ages. There are also a number of non-skiing activities avalable, and the Apres Ski scene is quite laid-back.
