Anzere is one of the most beautiful chalet villages and is situated on the right bank of the Rhone Alps. It was built in the 1960s and has amazing views of the peaks of the Valais Alps and Mont Blanc. Anzere has 40km of runs that are served by 11 lifts. The majority of the runs are perfect for intermediates, while there are only 3km of easy runs for beginners.

Terrain for experts is also limited, but there are some excellent off-piste areas. One of the top attractions is the heli-skiing on the Wildhorn Glacier at an elevation of 3247m. The Apres Ski scene is quite fun and lively when the resort is packed with holiday makers, although the choices are a little limited.

Nearby Attractions: There a few other things to do in Anzere away from the slopes. For those who are looking for something on the active side you can do some paragliding; ice skating; or hiking. For some sightseeing follow the nature trails to get some breathtaking views of the Alps and surrounding landscape.

If you're looking for some cultural places of interest, you'll have to take a short drive from Anzere. Nearby you'll find the Musee de speleologie de Chamoson; the Musee Chsteaux Valere; and for children Happyland a Granges will provide them with a fun day out.
Aprés-Ski: The Apres Ski scene is a bit limited, there are a few bars to go to in order to have a few drinks and meet some people. If you're looking for something more lively, there are 2 excellent nightclubs in Anzere, the best of which is Le Masque Nightclub.

There are a range of shops in the resort, a few of which offer equipment rentals. If you feel like relaxing you can head of to the sauna, or indoor swimming pool. Anzere also has a cinema for those who want to relax and catch a movie.
