Passo Tonale is one of the highest resorts in Italy, and is garunteed of having good snow and a long skiing seeason. The majority of the runs are best suited for beginners and intermediates, while there are some good off-pistes and black runs for experts who don't mind traveling a bit. The resort also has access to the Presena glacier, which offers year round skiing.

The resort also has an excellent ski school, which is good for beginners of all ages. Passo Tonale is relatively inexpensive, and is popular with families and school tours. Apres Ski is fairly quiet, although the nightlife can be quite lively. There aren't many non-ski activities on offer.

LOCAL ATTRACTIONS
Nearby Attractions: There are a few interesting attractions near Passo Tonale, a good place to start sightseeing is Vermiglio, only a short drive from Passo Tonale. Vermiglio consists of four hamlets, which have many old buildings and churches worth visiting, including the 17th century St. Stefano Church and the 15th century Church of St. Caterina.

There are also a number of walking trails, which offer you the opportunity of exploring the surrounding landscape.
Aprés-Ski: The night life in Passo Tonale is quite limited, although the few nightclubs and bars found in the resort offer quite lively and fun nights out. There are also a number of excellent mountain restaurants, which serve a wide range of traditional and Italian cuisine.

Other activities on offer, include a swimming pool; an ice rink; a sauna; and hot tubs.
