Madesimo is a small resort village in the Italian Alps, and is surrounded by some amazing scenery. Most of the runs here are best suited for intermediates, with only a few easy slopes for beginners. Experts have to do some searching in order to find some challenging runs, the best run is the Canalone piste.
There is a specialist park for snow boarders, but this is also best suited for intermediates. Madesimo has a highly regarded ski school, and has some of the best instructors available. The village itself is small and beautiful, with a welcoming and laid-back atmosphere. The Apres Ski is quite limited, with most of the nightlife being hotel and restaurant based. This is a great place for a quiet skiing holiday. |
