Corvara is part of the Alta Badia ski area and also is a linked off shoot of the Sella Ronda circuit. This is one of the bigger villages in the Italian Alps, and has quite a lively Apres Ski, with a wide variety of bars; hotels; and restaurants.
The majority of the runs favour beginners and intermediates, while experts can take a short trip to Arabba to experience some of the toughest runs in the Italian Alps. This is a great place to go for a skiing holiday, with many good runs and a fun, lively nightlife. |

Nearby Attractions: There are a few attractions near Corvara, a good place to start off sightseeing is at the Pic' Museo Ladin, which houses a number of exhibits about the history of the Val Badia region. Ther are also a number of churches that are worth visiting, including the Sospirolo.
There are also a number of walking trails, which take you through the beautiful landscape surrounding the resort. |
Aprés-Ski: Corvara has quite a lively Apres Ski scene. The resort has a few nightclubs and bars, which all provide excellent party venues for those who want to have fun after a hard day's skiing.
There are also a number of shops, which sell almost anything you could need, as well as offer equipment for hire. Corvara also has some of the best mountain restaurants, which all serve a range of excellent traditional and Italian cuisine. |
