Cervinia is situatedon the Italian side of the Matterhorn, and is lift-linked to Zermatt in Switzerland, which has 200km of its own runs. The majority of the runs are best suited for intermediates, with a number of good runs for beginners as well.

Experts have a couple of good runs to choose from, but for any really good stuff, they should head over to Switzerland. Snow boarders also have some great runs to choose from, as well as a good snow park. Apres Ski in Cervinia is rather quiet and nightlife fairly limited, with a few non-ski activities on offer. This is a great place for beginners and intermediates who want to get down to some skiing.

Copapan Restaurant - by Clayton from United Kingdom - 2007-02-28
The Copapan restaurant is one of the best restaurants I’ve been to. The staff are friendly and the choice on the menu makes it hard to make your mind up want you want there’s so much on it. I went for duck in bilberry and apple in red wine sauce and my wife went for guinea fowl with couscous both were fantastic and very reasonable. The kids had a pizza each and with a few side orders and a litre of wine the bill came to 100 euros. After dinner we walked round to a club called Biancognilio which had live bands from 10pm till 12midnight and then a dj till 3am.all in all it was a wicked night after a night on the slopes
