Bormio is one of the most popular of all the Italian resorts, with non-skiing activities being just as important as skiing. Apres Ski in Bormio is quite lively with many shops; cafes; bars; and restaurants, and it really heats up over weekends when people flocl here from the major north Italian cities.

The skiing here is a bit limited, with most of the runs best suited for beginners and intermediates. There are a few challenging runs for experts, as well as some off-pistes, but for more variety its worth checking out Livigno and Santa Caterina.
