The Alta Badia ski area contains the resorts of Corvara; Colfosco; La Villa; San Cassiano; and Pedraces. All five of the resorts are linked together, as well as have links to the Sella Ronda circuit.
This is one of the most popular ski areas in the Italian Alps. Most of the runs in the Alta Badia are best suited for beginners and intermediates, while experts will have to travel to Arabba for some challenging runs. Apres Ski in the area is mixed, with Corvara and Colfosco having a lively Apres Ski scene, while the other three are more quiet and laid back. |

Nearby Attractions: There are a few attractions in the Alta Badia region, a good place to start off sightseeing is at the Pic' Museo Ladin, which houses a number of exhibits about the history of the Val Badia region.
There are also a number of churches that are worth visiting, including the Sospirolo. A number of walking trails can be found in all the resorts, which take you through the beautiful landscape surrounding the resort.
For the more adventurous paragliding is on offer, which provides you with a whole new perspective on the amazing landscape. |
Aprés-Ski: Apres Ski in the Alta Badia region has a good mix, with the most lively action happening in Corvara and Colfosco. Both resorts have a number of bars and nightclubs that offer excellent party venues.
They also have a number of shops, which sell a wide range of goods and offer equipment for hire. There are also a number of non-ski facilities on offer, including swimming pools; ice rinks; and sports centres. Pedraces, La Villa and San Cassiano have the quieter Apres Ski scene, with most of the entertainment being hotel and restaurant based. All the resorts are ver close to one another and it is easy to move between them. |
