|
Valloire is a large resort consisting of a huge 150km ski area consisting of three separate parts being Le Setaz, Le Crey du Quart and Valmeinier. Beginners are well looked after with great schools, gentle slopes and though on the low side at 1430m, Valloire enjoys good snow cover due to it's northerly position. Situated between the three valleys and the Italian border.
Other snow sports include telemark, cross-country and snow shoeing and snow boarders will love the well equipped park with it's halfpipe.
The village has some good shopping, bowling alley, sports centre and an ice rink. Nightlife is lively with International and French dining, some music bars and a couple of discos.
All in all a fantastic resort for the social skier and families, but if you are serious about your pistes then you may have to look further afield. |
