Pra-Loup is situated in the southern part of Alpes de Haute Provence and is at 2 levels at 1500m and 1600m.
The low altitude of the resort sometimes affects the snow cover at the end of the season, but with a huge number of slopes there is a good choice, with most suitable for the skier with some experience, and the skier sporting an L plate on his back. For the expert there is some good off piste skiing.
The resort is popular amongst French families and offers good value, but can get busy with queuing in the height of the season.
There is a good snowboard park, snowshoeing and skidoos.
Pra-Loup has a laid back apres ski, but party animals will sniff out some fun nights and the restaurant choice is sufficient. |
