Meribel is in the heart of the Three Valleys area and one of, if not the most beautiful. The facilities here are first class with great child care centres, over 50 restaurants catering to all tastes and pockets. Good nightlife and non ski sports make for productive time away from the slopes.
The skiing is top of the range and all levels get a look in. The snowboarders will be happy with the 2 parks.Well known ski schools abound in the area and they can teach any age.
The area is perfect for walking and has many trails. |

LOCAL ATTRACTIONS |

Nearby Attractions: Walking is popular in the Meribel area and the tourist office will provide a guide on request, but there are plenty of marked trails. Try bowling at the 6 lane alley which also has a games arcade and cafe.
The casino in Brides les Bains is open from 2pm daily if you fancy trying your luck.Les Ravines hosts paintball and if you haven't tried this, why not get down and dirty.
The tourism office will give you information about the guided walks on Tuesdays to the nearby villages. |
Aprés-Ski: For a night out of town, try the casino at Brides les Bains (12 km from Meribel), There are all the ingredients for a great night. Apart from the usual casino games and slot machines, there is a Brasserie, restaurant, cocktail bar and a disco at the weekend.
The town boasts many restaurants and bars ranging from the good, the bad and the ugly. I would choose one of the good ones myself.
Bar life is fun and most hotels have in house bars, some with live music. |

| This place is amazing, cosy friendly, chic and great food. I spent three weeks in Meribel last year (and have visited the resort in previous years) and fell upon this little place down at the Chardonne lift area. They do great coktails and exciting food (everywhere else serves pizza and pasta). We went almost everyday morning apres ski and night time. |
