Luz-Ardiden is a fairly new resort and enjoys a large area of skiing divide into two areas of Aulian and Bederet. The off piste activity can be exiting for the expert and there are areas for the starter. The snowpark has just been completed and contains a halfpipe. The area has thermal baths, and enough restaurants, accommodation and places to visit for most holidaymakers.
If you need holy inspiration then maybe Lourdes (30km) can be of help.

Lourdes is 30km from the resort and the town enjoys many pilgrims based on a sighting of the virgin Mary over 100 years ago. It's all good for tourism and worth the trip just for the Cathedral.
Aprés-Ski: There are a good selection of restaurants and cafes. The bars are mainly restricted to hotels, but the two discos in Luz St. Sauver Coco Loco and Toy Club both rock at the weekend, and are great for getting rid of that extra energy.
