Popular Travel Destinations

Cauterets is smaller than Bareges and is closer to Lourdes (28km) and do not have a great area of marked pistes and are mainly for the beginner and semi skilled.

The town is situated below the slopes and in the season queues can build up, but it's a warm small place and good for making friends.

Lourdes is only 30 km away and is a great day away from the slopes to see the well known Cathedral, Castle and the legends that surround the miracles that supposedly occurred here.
Aprés-Ski: Considering the size of the village there is a surprising amount of nightlife. With some very good restaurants and bars. La Bodega in the rue de la Raillere serves excellent food at a reasonable price

Most of the hotels have their own bars and there are a couple of night clubs for the energetic.
