Popular Travel Destinations
The Zurs ski resort has become an extremely popular skiing area , with expensive hotels, excellent restaurants and a reserved nightlife. The resort offers an excellent ski school, which is perfect for beginners and children. Zurs offers visitors a total of 110km of skiing runs, as well as an additional 150km which is provided by the Arlberg ski pass.

Snowboarders are catered for by means of a well equipped boarding park. There is a total of 55 slopes, favoured mostly by intermediates and beginners. The Apre ski scene offers visitors a few bars and clubs and a couple of excellent restaurants.

LOCAL ATTRACTIONS
Nearby Attractions: Visitors who wish to take a break from skiing can visit the nearest town, Bregenz, which offers a good selection of entertaining activities. The Parish Church is a wonderful place to start a day of exciting sightseeing. The church is situated on a hill to the south of the Altstadt and features a sunken nave which dates back to the 18th century.

The Vorarlberger Landesmuseum is home to an extensive collection of artifacts and relics from the entire province. The relics which are on display range from prehistoric and Roman days. Another site which is worth a visit is the Tower Of St. Martin. Located at the base of the tower is the St. Martin's Chapel, constructed in 1362. The Chapel is home to a wonderful collection of 14th century artworks.
Aprés-Ski: The Apre Ski scene is slightly reserved, consisting mainly of a couple of excellent restaurants and a few bars and clubs. There is also a sports and leisure center available, which is equipped with a sauna.

The resort is also home to a stunning indoor swimming pool, an ice rink and beautiful walking trails. For the more adventurous, there are paragliding and hand gliding facilities available.
