The St. Gallenkirch resort is situated in the beautiful Montafon Mountain range and offers a generous amount of skiing opportunities. Beginners will be slightly disappointed with the minimal skiing opportunities, as the total of 28 lifts and 30km of cross-country skiing caters predominantly for intermediates and experts. The resort caters well for snowboarders with a well equipped specialised boarding park and halfpipe

. The Apre ski scene is pretty relaxed and laid-back, consisting mainly of a few bars and nightclubs, as well as a couple of shops and nice restaurants. There is however also a bowling alley and an ice rink, which is sure to keep both young and old amused.
