The Leogang ski resort is chairlift linked to Saalbach and Hinterglem. The resort is situated in a natural basin, which ensures a wonderful micro-climate perfect for snow. The resort features a total of 10 lifts and 9 slopes, which are predominantly favoured by intermediates and beginners. Expert skiers will have to venture to the off-piste skiing area, should they wish to enjoy a bit more of a challenge.

The resort caters well for snowboarders with a well equipped specialised boarding park and halfpipe. The Apre ski scene is pretty relaxed and laid-back, consisiting mainly of a small selection of bars and nightclubs, as well as a couple of shops and a selection of nice restaurants offering a lovely range of traditional Austrian and international cuisine.

Nearby Attractions: Should you wish to take a break from skiing, you can visit the nearest town of Salzburg, which offers a great selection of activities. The Carolino Augusteum-Volkskundemuseum is a wonderful place to visit for those who wish to do a bit of sightseeing.

The museum is home to an interesting collection of local folk art and traditional costumes. The Salzburger Tiergarten Hellbrunn is a place to visit for a fun-filled family outing.

The zoo is home to a diverse selection of animals, ranging from otters and white rhinoceros to antelope, cheetahs and griffin vultures.
Aprés-Ski: The resort offers a very laid-back Apre ski scene, which consists mainly of a small selection of bars and nightclubs, as well as a couple of shops and a selection of nice restaurants offering a lovely range of traditional Austrian and international cuisine.

The resort is also equipped with a bowling alley and ice rink, which is sure to offer hours of amusement for both young and old. There is also a gym equipped with an ice rink, as well as stunning walking trails and paragliding facilities.
