The Leogang ski resort is chairlift linked to Saalbach and Hinterglem. The resort is situated in a natural basin, which ensures a wonderful micro-climate perfect for snow. The resort features a total of 10 lifts and 9 slopes, which are predominantly favoured by intermediates and beginners. Expert skiers will have to venture to the off-piste skiing area, should they wish to enjoy a bit more of a challenge.
The resort caters well for snowboarders with a well equipped specialised boarding park and halfpipe. The Apre ski scene is pretty relaxed and laid-back, consisiting mainly of a small selection of bars and nightclubs, as well as a couple of shops and a selection of nice restaurants offering a lovely range of traditional Austrian and international cuisine. |
