The Kirchberg ski resort is situated only 6km from the larger and slightly more attractive resort of Kitzbuhel. The village is generally very busy, populated mainly by young Germans, Brits and Scandinavians wanting to sap the village of its wild and exciting nightlife. The two resorts offer a total of 165km of skiing run, centered mainly around the Hahnenkamm and Kitzbuheler Horn. The resort features 60 lifts and 70 slopes which cater mostly for beginners and early intermediates.

Snowboarders are also well catered for with an excellent specialised boarding park, as well as a halfpipe. The resort offers a very attractive Apre ski scene, most popular for its wild bars and clubs. There is also a selection of shops and an extensive range of restaurants available.

LOCAL ATTRACTIONS
Nearby Attractions: The resort is situated only 6km from the neighboring town of Kitzbuhel. The town offers a great selection of entertainment for those who wish to take a bit of a break from skiing. The Church of Our Lady, Liebfrauenkirche, which dates back to the 13th century is an excellent place to start off a day of sightseeing. It is home to an impressive collection of beautiful ancient artworks.

Another place which is definitely worth a visit is the Totensagra, situated by the cemetery of Reith. The building was constructed in 1637 and one of most sacred and mysterious buildings in Tyrol. In addition to these there are a couple of chapels and museums which are also worth a visit.
Aprés-Ski: The resort offers a very attractive Apre ski scene, most popular for its wild bars and clubs. There is also a selection of shops available, as well as an extensive range of restaurants offering delicious traditional and international cuisine.

The resort features a bowling alley and an ice rink, which offers loads of entertainment for both young and old. There is also a gym, equipped with a sauna and a large indoor swimming pool. The resort also offers wonderful walking trails, as well as hand gliding and paragliding facilities.
